Since the establishment of the Kinmen Ceramic Plant, some famous artists, including Chang Ta-chien, have been invited to Kinmen to visit the army and the ceramic plant. “Carrying out Cultural Activities in the Front Line” was very frequent at that time. After 1983, Kinmen County was open to visit, and the Ceramic Museum was set up. Artists were invited to station in the ceramic plant. As a result, the collection and displaying items of the Ceramic Museum was expanded by their works.
The Ceramic Museum has collected 376 works (under supplementation) of different artists. The displaying items and the webpage of the museum will be upgraded irregularly, which will be publicized on the first page of the website of the museum.
